What a fun engagement shoot this was! Rebecca and John are movie addicts and are having a movie themed wedding in the spring. They wanted to recreate some classic movie posters and scenes during their engagement shoot and I welcomed the chance to be a little different! I won’t blog most of them yet because they might use one for their save the dates, but I’m thinking I’ll have a contest later to see who can guess which movie photos we recreated. I absolutely loved the style of these two and was so happy we had some fall leaves left even though it was a bit past peak. These are all film, like our many recent shoots, and the way it brings out the colors of everything is just lovely.
I always say, the more styling you can do, the better. Having hair and makeup done professionally is a MUST for any photo shoot (Rebecca’s talented friend Rebekah did hers) and I always recommend Blush Beauty and Makeup to all of my clients. You simply won’t be able to do your makeup enough for it to show on camera, but pros know just what to do. Coordinating outfits and showing your personality and style at your engagement shoot is always a great idea, and if you haven’t got a clue what to wear, my amazing stylist friend JMC Styling is seriously magical at coming up with fabulous outfits. You want to be comfortable, but also have a bit more pizazz than usually for your engagement photos.
