This year has been a bizarre converging of my childhood life with my adult life as we have 4 weddings of people I knew when I was young and my sister’s wedding. Debi was our neighbor when I was little. My sister and I played whiffle ball with her and her sister Sarah in our front yards across from the cow pastures on the street we lived on. She and I were reminiscing about how the cows got out sometimes and you’d see a gigantic bull standing in your front yard once in awhile. I haven’t seen Debi for probably 10 years or so, though social media has kept us up on each other’s lives a bit. When she got in touch about us shooting their wedding….at the Jefferson Memorial no less….I was so excited! She is such a graceful, beautiful lady and it was kind of incredible to see the child I played with in her oldest daughter and the spunky, hilarious spirit of her younger daughter. Jeff treats them like princesses and this was one of those weddings that I felt really, really fortunate to be a part of.
